Camera is fine and performs as expected. I am, however, disappointed with the quality of the "bundle" components as they appear to be the cheapest items to be found in the Beach Camera inventory. The sum total value of the components is far less than the $90 upgrade cost versus purchasing the camera alone and adding the components separately. Also, though I bought through Amazon.com because of the security of the purchase, it should be noted that Beach Camera had the same bundle on their website for $20 less. When I called Beach Camera to inquire about the difference, they told me that this was the cost of doing business with Amazon.com. I recommend you just buy G12 alone (from amazon's site) and shop for the rest (camera bag, extra battery, etc) separately. I am totally disappointed. She raved about the camera so I bought one and agree! It can be used in various modes and I am still learning. It takes great pictures as well as HD video. A bit expensive but well worth the price.
